What distinguishes him is his commitment to the local culture of his hometown and his role in directing attention to it, while engaging with trends in global contemporary art. The international art world has fallen in love with contemporary Chinese art, and somehow Zheng Guogu, although often included in group exhibitions in Asia and Europe, has not been singled out often enough. He juggles fact with fiction or myth, while controlling the entry points to his community for visitors from the art world, who

Keiichi Tanaami   ( 田名網 敬一   Tanaami Keiichi , born in 1936 in  Tokyo )  is one of the leading  pop artists  of  postwar Japan , and has been active as multi-genre artist since the 1960s as a  graphic designer ,  illustrator ,  video artist  and  fine artist . Keiichi Tanaami was born in 1936 as the eldest son of a textile wholesaler in Tokyo. He was 9 years old when Tokyo was bombed during the Great Tokyo Air Raid of World War II in 1945. Images seared into the back of his mind at this time would become major motifs in his art works: roaring American  bombers , searchlights scanning the skies, firebombs dropped from planes, the city a sea of fire, fleeing masses, and his father’s deformed goldfish swimming in its tank, flashes from the bombs reflecting in the water. “I was rushed away from my childhood, a time that should be filled with eating and playing, by the enigmatic monstrosity of war ; my dreams were a vortex소용돌이 of fear and anxiety, anger and resignation사직,체념. David Salle

David Salle  (born 1952) is an American painter, printmaker, and stage designer who helped define  postmodern sensibility . Salle was born in  Norman, Oklahoma . He earned a BFA and MFA from the  California Institute of the Arts ,  Valencia, California  where he studied with  John Baldessari .  Salle’s work first came to public attention in  New York  in the early 1980s. His paintings and prints comprise what appear to be randomly juxtaposed images, or images placed on top of one other with deliberately ham-fisted 서투른 techniques. At a 2005 lecture, Salle stated: When I came to New York in the 70s, it was common not to expect to be able to live from your art. I had very little idea about galleries or the business side of the art world. It all seemed pretty distant. When people started paying attention to my work, it seemed so unlikely that somehow it wasn't so remarkable. I made my work for a small audience of friends, other artists mostly, and that has not really changed. A

Aoyama Satoru

Art Basel Hong Kong 2018 Booth  #1B38   29 - 31 March 2018 I went there to watch these wonderful artwork. Waste of labour power, News from Nowhere, Record, Map of the world, Embroiders Although he is Japanese by birth, he does not view his art strictly as 'Japanese', but rather operating in dialogue with other global trends and the history of art. He says; 'when I talk with Jim Lambie, I don't talk to him as a Japanese artist talking to a Scottish artist, but as two artists operating internationally'. Satoru's practice blurs the distinction between different media as he uses photographs as a base foundation and then embroiders over the image. He believes the black of thread is stronger than the black pigment of paint and that his use of embroidery enables him to pursue that depth of blackness. He frequently makes use of traditional subject matter found in classical oil paintings. The process of making is important for Satoru and he hopes
